Hello guys,
Hope you are doing well. I’m doing okay, Alhamdulillah.
Today I wrote what I think is the best newsletter I have ever written. I used several hours, made interesting assumptions, and connected so many pieces of information into one super long piece. If you are interested in love, mathematics, academia, and Lagos, you would have loved ittt. Most importantly, I enjoyed writing it.
Haha but sadly, we shall not be reading this today. When I tried publishing, I found that it exceeded Google’s limit for email size (I think length + pictures). I clicked ‘Cancel’ meaning to go back and make significant reductions, but it ended up canceling the entire newsletter.

I have neither the energy nor heart to rewrite it, so instead I shall share one newsletter article and one podcast episode I think you should look into before starting your new week.
Am I good enough? - Love Letters from Nusaybah
Nusaybah is a 20-year-old who runs 5+ organizations, is enrolled simultaneously in two degrees, and spends her time building communities mostly around learning, Islam, and mental health advocacy. In this piece, she talks about comparisons and imposter syndrome.
The $160 Billion Video Game Industry Explained - The Prof G Show
Prof. Scott Galloway is a Professor at NYU Stern Business School. He has written 3 books, founded 9 companies, and has some of the most interesting perspectives on business, Big Tech, academia, and finance. I could devote an entire newsletter to sharing things I have learnt from him. This podcast analyzes the $160 billion video game industry in the US. For context, Nigeria’s entire GDP is about $400 billion.
Well worth your time.
As for me, I shall think about rewriting that piece to post on another platform (Medium?), making changes so it can fit on here (back to P1 and P2?), or fashing it completely.
Yass so dazz eet for this week.
Gracias, and see you around.
